The Danish cartoons of Mohammed has sparked quite a controversy in the Gaza Strip. Violence and threats have been directed towards the cartoonist, the newspaper, and the Danish people. Your thoughts?

I think it's absurd man...cartoons about Jesus and the jews as said earlier have sprung up a long time ago. HAve the Christians or the Jews done anything? NO.. FoUoCoK THE MUSLIMS MAN.. dumb arses
these people (the Muslims) need to get a sense of humor (or at least learn some tolerance for people who live in the 21st century) (they want to be known as the "religion of peace", they should try acting like it...)

Yeah - just think of Germany in the 1930s. Heaps of defammatory cartoons about Jews - and the Jews never had a problem with that. THEY never protested. THEY behaved themselves like civilised people should. Oh, wait, hang on....

All the Muslims of the world that are against the freedom of speech and the depiction of the "prophet" should protest and be publicized. That way the rest of the world will know who and where you are when the Sh_t hits the fan. i am an atheist, and the entire row that sparked off all over the world just made me arrive at a conclusion....
the man who created god is a perverted genius.
i request all readers to try and think clearly for a moment, ....if there were no concept of religion and god ....we would have probably never witnessed any wars.
these cartoons are of rather poor taste. if they should not be made public, it should only be because they are shit. i am all for free speech, i am not a muslim, i had never seen these before today. of course it is offensive to parody and caricature religious figures, but it is more offensive to use such insignificant and poor excuses as these cartoons to burn down embassies and persecute and kill people who differ.
For a muslim person who is offended by these cartoons & start violence because of it is mentally ill to say the least. I have seen Jesus Christ's image velified & abused in the media.. true I feel the enormous sadness to witness this & even great anger but I have no desire to kill whoever is responsible. Muslim people say they are of true religion & preaches peace but people around the world witnesses the hate they preach & the violent acts they committ. This world is ugly enough to live in. The last thing our world needs are religious fanatics to make it uglier & miserable to live in. Have a sense of humour & open mind pls..
